And no, you do not have to be “advanced” to take it – it’s designed such that you could go straight into it after your PADI Open Water Diver. The Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so that you can become more comfortable in the water. Essentially, the PADI Advance Diver course requires you to embark on 5 Adventure Dives, with 2 compulsory dives in Deep Diving and Navigation. The Advance Open Water diver course is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the supervision of your PADI Instructor. This course will build upon the foundation skills you’ve learnt from your Open Water course while at the same time, exposing you to new and diverse diving environments.

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is part of PADI eLearning. The Advanced Open Water Diver Course Online gets you started right away by providing you with the background information you need for the seven of the most popular Adventure Dives (though you and your instructor can still choose any of the Adventure Dives.)

Self study is also available for students who wish to learn at their own convenience. Upon completing your learning, you would only need to schedule a date with us to complete your quizzes and exams at Sunny Cove. In the event where you have study related queries, you are always welcome to sit in on our knowledge presentations sessions conducted by our staff where we would answer all of your questions. Lastly, we do conduct classroom sessions for students who wish to learn in a classroom based setting.

Unfortunately, due to our busy lifestyle, some of us may not have the luxury to dive. It could have been 1, 2 years or perhaps even 10 years since our last breath underwater.

If you are planning to return for a dive or two after an extended period of inactivity, it is recommended to enrol yourself for our scuba review course.
During the course, our staff will review the various skills you have learnt from your PADI Open Water Diver. The objective of the session is to instil confidence in your personal diving skills and to refresh some skills that you may have forgotten since your last dive.

While not an actual scuba course, the Discover Scuba Diving experience allows you to grasp the basics of scuba diving by presenting to you a quick and easy introduction of the underwater world.

Nothing could beat breathing underwater for the very first time, the roiling of nervousness and excitement in your stomach, just raring to take your first breath.

Your first breath underwater would take a little getting used to. Afterall, human beings aren’t designed to breathe underwater. But after the initial breaths underwater, most participants realize how easy and relaxing scuba diving is – And That is when the FUN begins.
